Introduction

Short stories and novels play a fundamental role in both Sirania and the Clans, for both are literary worlds—long before adventures began to unfold within them, they existed as worlds crafted in the form of short stories and unfinished novels. The vast Siranian plains, deep forests, and dark mountain ranges were inhabited by the first nations years before the first game, witnessing the primal stories of heroes whose names are now forgotten, save for a rare, quiet echo. But it was not always so—one day, player characters entered the world, bringing their own intentions and dynamics, thus intervening in a history that had previously unfolded only as dreamlike images in the mind of its creator. Yet even then, literary creation was far from silenced—on the contrary, players began to collaborate enthusiastically, writing their own chronicles and stories from the world of Sirania or the Clans, adding their own ideas and narratives, thereby becoming co-owners of the world. Here, you can find some of them.

Comics – The Germination of the Eye

A comic set in the world of the Clans, telling of the village of Arka in the heart of a forest where the Night hides with its snares. It is a story full of complex symbolism, closer to a dream or a prophecy than a standard narrative. In its surreal flow, it elaborates on many motifs that otherwise belong to the World and Norld of Sirania. The individual pages are accompanied by commentary. The work is currently unfinished, which only adds to its enigmatic nature.

Clan Tales

Here you will find the first few chapters of a prose rendition of a story that actually took place in the world of the Clans. It is here that you can see the fantastical environment of the Clans in action and practice; its specifics perhaps stand out more clearly here than in general descriptions. The author has succeeded in capturing the precise and subtle nuances of the adventure, allowing you to participate in it as well. Author: Lucie Lukačovičová

Siranian Tales

Poetic and vividly descriptive, this narrative captures a story co-created by characters in the world of Sirania. This literary record was begun recently, so it captures the latest developments and is current with the ongoing game. Within it, you will find many more ideas and lore that seamlessly complement the descriptions found elsewhere on these pages.

The Saga of Lundir

The astrologer and architect Lundir is one of the non-player characters in the world of Sirania and, following recent events, the adoptive father of a party member, the sorceress Arsia. This is the story of his life, recorded in the ancient saga style. It reveals the terrifying interconnectedness of the powerful cities and lineages of Sirania and the Northern Kingdoms—“Let me tell you of those days of high adventure…” The saga includes Lundir’s family tree and an index of all appearing characters.

Mirror of Ice

This story was written many years ago—at least five years before the start of the Siranian gaming chapter “Eclipse.” Yet, it depicts something that is only just beginning to happen in the world of Sirania. Something terrible is awakening in the far north, and a group of four unprepared locals encounters it. Something that descended upon Qurand during the Eclipse.

The Dream Tree

This story is not from the world of Sirania, yet in its own way, it belongs here. It is essentially fan-fiction set in Zelazny’s world of Amber. However, you will find many ideas here that are close to the psychology of the Clans, and the city of Irivor in the story is essentially the Siranian city of Sairis transposed into the Amberverse.
